Industry ministers of Belarus, Russia review cooperation dynamics

On 17 July, Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov met with Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov. Taking part in the talks was Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik, BelTA learned from the Industry Ministry.

The parties discussed the dynamics of bilateral cooperation and interaction between the two ministries, as well as efforts to deepen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The ministers emphasized the importance of a robust dialogue and exchange of best practices in improving the effectiveness of joint initiatives.

Special attention was paid to cooperation in innovative segments of the economy, as well as the integration of industrial enterprises of the two countries. The ministers highlighted the importance of continued joint efforts to foster innovation and enhance the competitiveness of both countries’ products.

Andrei Kuznetsov and Anton Alikhanov expressed confidence that the strategic partnership between Belarus and Russia will only grow stronger. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts to achieve common goals in industrial development. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue dialogue and actively pursue planned activities within the established framework of their relationship with a view to promoting the development of the industrial potential of both countries.

Anton Alikhanov expressed gratitude for the fruitful and constructive cooperation and highlighted the importance of holding the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM in Belarus - the exhibition will be held in Minsk from 29 September to 1 October 2025.
