There are some educational institutions in the region:

• 5 General Education Institutions;
• 4 Pre-School Institutions;
• State Institution providing additional education “Ushachi Regional Centre for Children and Youth”;
• Health Camp ‘Turospolye” (structural subdivision of SIPE ‘Ushachi Regional Centre for Children and Youth’);
• State Social and Educational Institution ‘Ushachi Social and Educational Centre’;
• Family type orphanage in agro-town Orehovno.

In 2024-2025 1427 children are being taught in the regional educational institutions:310- in Pre-School Institutions, 1117 - At Secondary Schools. 153 teachers work in the General Education Institutions.

67 teachers work in Pre-School Institutions. To improve the quality of education and to satisfy educational requests in the Educational Institutions studying of school subjects is being carried out at advanced level.

There is a system of extra-curricular activities. Work on creating conditions to organize quality educational process is being carried out efficiently.
