Ushachi is an agricultural region. The main land-users are five municipal unitary agricultural companies, four agricultural production cooperatives, eight farms, Ushachi Raiagroservis with the cattle-breeding facility Mayak and the hog farm Sorochino.
The region’s agriculture specializes in granger’s cattle-breeding, grain, potato and flax production. The products are sold to the oblast’s processing companies including Polotsk Dairy, Polotsk Bakery, Lepel Concentrated-Milk Factory.
