Potato planting in Belarus over
Belarusian agricultural workers have completed potato planting, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry. As of 17 May, spring crops were planted on the area of 1,966,900 hectares, which is 88.5% of the plan. Planting was done on 91.6% of the area in Vitebsk Oblast, 76.8% of the area in Gomel Oblast, and 96.1% in Grodno Oblast, 92.2% in Minsk Oblast, and 72.9% in Mogilev Oblast.
